How to Cancel Your DontSnooze Subscription

DontSnooze is billed entirely through your Apple ID, so there's exactly one cancellation path. Five steps in iOS Settings, what actually stops, and where refunds are handled.

DontSnooze is iOS-only, billed entirely through your Apple ID. That means there’s one cancellation path, not three — no in-app cancel button, no Google Play, no separate billing portal to hunt through. Apple owns the subscription.

Cancel from your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap DontSnooze.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription, then confirm.

Done. No form buried in account settings, because the app never held your card details to begin with. That simplicity isn’t guaranteed by law, either — a federal rule that would have forced every subscription to be this easy to leave was on track to take effect in mid-2025 until an appeals court struck it down days beforehand, which is part of why plenty of other apps still make cancelling a maze on purpose.

What cancelling actually does. It stops future billing at the end of your current period, whether you’re on weekly, monthly, or annual. It does not delete your account, your streak history, or your stored camera-roll proof. The account itself stays open until you separately delete it and its data, which is a different process with its own confirmation step.

Refunds are Apple’s call, not DontSnooze’s. The studio behind the app can’t refund a charge directly, because Apple processed the payment. File a request at reportaproblem.apple.com and Apple decides. For what each plan actually costs before you sign back up, the full pricing breakdown covers all three tiers.

Cancel any time. Access runs through the end of whatever period is already paid for — Apple doesn’t prorate the unused days unless it grants a refund on request.
