Delete your account

You can permanently delete your DontSnooze account and all associated personal data. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open DontSnooze on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile, then the gear icon to open Settings.
  3. Tap Account, then Delete Account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete my account.

Your account and personal data are removed immediately from our active systems.

Option 2 — Email request

If you can't sign in to the app, send an email to contact@simplescale.tech from the email address or phone number associated with your account. Include:

  • Subject: Delete my account
  • Your username, if you remember it
  • The phone number or email used to sign in

We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar, contact info).
  • All alarms, challenges, schedules, sub-tasks, and history.
  • All photos and videos in your punishment pool, plus proof recordings.
  • All exposed photos shown on your profile.
  • All follow relationships, follow requests, and witness records.
  • All stories you posted and your reactions to others' stories.
  • Push tokens and notification subscriptions.
  • Your analytics person record (PostHog).
  • Your account row and authentication records.

What may remain

  • Routine encrypted backups, for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
  • A minimal record of the deletion event (such as the deletion timestamp, hashed user ID, and reason if you provided one) so we can comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
  • Aggregated, anonymous analytics that cannot be tied back to you.
